Children and Young People
Child Protection:  West Division

To be contacted if a child has suffered or is at risk of suffering harm as a result of abuse or neglect, and if the parent is not protecting them from that harm. Investigates where a child is at risk of harm, refers children and families to services for ongoing safety and wellbeing of children, makes applications to the Children’s Court if the child’s safety cannot be ensured within the family, administers protection orders granted by the Children’s Court.
